[ODI 12c] ORA-30088 error while loading data from Exadata to Exalytics

Recently i faced an ORA-30088 error while loading data from a table in  Exadata server to a table in Exalytics server with ODI 12c tool version 12.1.3.

Here is the output of error.

ODI-1228: Task Create work table-LKM GT Exadata to Oracle (JYTHON)- fails on the target connection EXALIYTCS_TABLE.
Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-30088: datetime/interval precision is out of range

at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4C8Oall.processError(
at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIfun.receive(
at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIfun.doRPC(

After some search on internet and oracle-support we see that it is thrown from definiton of TIMESTAMP datatype definition in topology.

We see that ODI forces timestamp(11) value when creating stage table.

After removing of (%L) part, it succesfully starts to load data on stage table.

Ok, that is all

Thanks for reading.

Enjoy & share.
